Abstract

Background & Statement of the problem: The importance of educational technologies is that they allow students to increase their experiences, by diversifying these experiences. They also allow them to think, watch, and understand, and the difficulties facing the use of technologies must be overcome. Objectives: The study aimed to identify the degree of English language teachers’ use of educational means and techniques in teaching English in the Second Zarqa Education Directorate from their point of view, and to reveal the obstacles they face in using educational means and techniques. Methods: The researcher used the descriptive survey method, and the study sample consisted of (166) male and female teachers, the researcher used a questionnaire consisting of (23) items divided into two areas: (the use of educational means and techniques by English language teachers, the difficulties faced by English language teachers in the use educational means and techniques) as a study tool. Conclusions (Recommendations and contributions): The researcher recommended the need to encourage English language teachers to use modern teaching techniques.
