Peer Review Process

  1. The manuscript is received through the AJRS electronic system.
  2. AJRS editorial office will do an initial assessment of the article including:
    • Plagiarism detection not exceeding 20%.
    • AJRS standard formatting.
    • Meeting journal focus and scope.
    • Meeting journal’s objectives.
  3. If the manuscript was accepted for peer-reviewing, the corresponding author will sign an agreement providing that:
    • If the manuscript was accepted for publication, the authors do transfer the properties of publishing and distributing the manuscript to the deanship of scientific research at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
    • The authors did not and will not send the manuscript to another journal during the peer-reviewing process.
    • The manuscript is original, and it is purely worked by the authors themselves
  4. AJRS will double blind the reviewing process for each article submitted.
  5. AJRS will assign two independent reviewers for peer- reviewing, one is chosen from Jordan and the other one from outside Jordan, all reviewers are chosen in reference to their research large volume and impact.
  6. Reviewer’s comments and responses will be sent to the author for consideration.
  7. The process will be repeated until AJRS receive the final decision of the peer- reviewers on the manuscript.
  8. when the reviewers recommend publication, the editor-in-chief and the editorial board will give the final decision.
  9. After acceptance, the article will be sent to the journal’s language editor for language review.
  10. The graphic designer will design the manuscript using the journal format
  11. The authors will check final proofs
  12. The Article will be Published in Al-Balqa Journal for Research and Studies in both print and electronic Version Al-Balqa Journal for Research and Studies
