Abstract

Judicial review pf administrative action is necessary for maintaining the citizen’s fundamental rights. The courts are authorized to review acts of public administration. They are, also, empowered to quash wrongful public administration acts. Compensation may be awarded to the injured person as a consequence. Judicial review may be carried out by the ordinary courts. It may be carried out by the administrative Courts as well. As for as Jordan is concerned, Jordan had adopted a unitary judicial system since 1952 till the end of 1988, from the beginning of 1989; Jordan has adopted a bilateral judicial system. An independent high justice court has been authorized to review certain reviewed by the ordinary courts.
