Abstract
This study aims at assessing the experience of using the e-learning system at al-Ahliyya Amman University during the covid
19 pandemic from the point of view of faculty, students, and parents. The study examins differences between responses based
on different variables. A questionnaire had been prepared and distributed on (104) faculty members via social media platforms
(WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook), (477) students, (482) parents, who were selected in a simple random way. A total of questionnaire
(1063) were analyzed). The results of the study showed that the evaluation of the teaching staff members towards
the use of the electronic learning system at the Al-Ahliyya Amman University came with a high degree of appreciation towards
the pros, and with a moderate degree towards the cons. Whreas the evaluation of students towards the pros and cons of using
the e-learning system at Al-Ahliyya Amman University was moderate. The study also showed that parents’ evaluation was
high regarding the pros of using the e-learning system in Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and moderate towards the cons. The
study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences among the responses of the study sample in terms of
difference in demographic variables (sex, college, place of residence) for faculty and students, and (kinship, educational level)
for parents of students.
