Abstract

The study aims at measuring the opinions of the physical education teachers in Qasabah Mafraq on the reality of using technology in the PE class considering the knowledge economy. The study sample consisted of (76) PE teachers in the district of Qasabah Mafraq, They developed a questionnaire with twenty-four items distributed into three fields: planning, implementation, and measurement and evaluation. The results indicated that technology in PE class in Qasabah Al-Mafraq is employed largely. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences attributed to the variable school type in all fields and the total degree in favor of the private schools. The researchers recommend adopting the use of technology in PE classes and training teachers on how to employ modern technological means in PE classes considering the new curricula. The study urges further studies on the applicability of digital PE classes by specialists and the extent of their contribution to achieving the requirements of the knowledge economy and applying them in light of the Corona pandemic.
